Tondoon Botanic Gardens is Queensland's Number One Regional Botanic Gardens and is situated only 8 kms from the city centre. It consists of 83 hectares of forest, lake and display area.

Enjoy the surrounds of the Port Curtis Native Flora or the cool comfort of the North Queensland Rainforest. Follow the woodland trails up Mount Biondello or relax on the Visitor Centre Deck. Enjoy a delicious meal from Gladstone Botanic Gardens Cafe or just enjoy the turtles, birds and view or Lake Tondoon.

Displays are open in the Visitor Centre every day and fun educational programmes are conducted for children during the Queensland school holidays. Picnic area with barbecues and playground. Clean toilet facilities. Bookings are available for group tours.
