This National Trust heritage museum has something for everyone and comprises the Old Court House and Police Station.
The courtroom features displays relating to the early historic Strathalbyn. Local and family history research available. The Court House, built in 1867, has a large display of paintings, dresses and accessories, domestic wares, curiosities of the Victorian era. The complex has a stable building of the period and sheds containing farm machinery in the rear yard.
The Police Station, built in 1858, has displays of photographs, washing machines, domestic and farm implements, a walled courtyard with three cells, a sitting room, two bedrooms and a kitchen.
Open: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, Public and School holidays 2:00 - 4:30pm.
