This venture will allow you to encounter at first hand one of the most alluring and acrobatic of cetaceans, the bottlenose dolphin, which they will be studying on their weekend surveys from New Quay, West Wales, aboard the Sulaire.
For the more adventurous, why not join them for their longer 5-day trips when they will be surveying the southern Irish Sea in search of Bottlenose, Common, and Risso's Dolphins, their larger relatives the Minke Whale and the Pilot Whale, which migrate through these waters.
They also do special 8 hour trips to participate in surveys and monitoring of the Cardigan Bay Special Area of Conservation (SAC). The species likely to be seen are bottlenose dolphins, harbour porpoises, seals as well as a wide variety of seabirds.
