Dairy Farmers Stadium, located in Townsville, North Queensland, is the home ground of the North Queensland Cowboys NRL Team. Extensions to the existing Eastern Grandstand were completed for the Cowboys first home match of 2006 with the additional seating extensions, at the Northern and Southern ends of the field, competed in July 2006.
Dairy Farmers Stadium comfortably holds more than 25,000 patrons. Willows Sports Complex, which comprises Dairy Farmers Stadium was opened in 1994 and is situated on 16.83 hectares in the Thuringowa Central locality at Golf Links Drive, Kirwan.
A free shuttle bus operates between Willows Shopping Centre in Kirwan and Dairy Farmers Stadium. Park your car for FREE at Willows and catch the FREE shuttle bus to and from Dairy Farmers Stadium. Buses depart from the Kern Brothers Drive entry of the Willows Car Park every 15 minutes from gates opening time until the commencement of the main game and resume at the conclusion of the match from the bus interchange at the Northern car park.
