Located in Tallowood Street, the Dorrigo Steam Railway and Museum boasts what can be considered the largest collection of railway vehicles and memorabilia in the Southern Hemisphere.
The comprehensive collection dates from 1855 to the present day and includes 62 locomotives, 280 carriages and wagons, 19 railmotors and a Silver City Comet set. The collection is mostly sourced from the various Government and private railways of New South Wales.
