Located in Tallowood Street, the Dorrigo Steam Railway and Museum boasts what can be considered the largest collection of railway vehicles and memorabilia in the Southern Hemisphere.

The comprehensive collection dates from 1855 to the present day and includes 62 locomotives, 280 carriages and wagons, 19 railmotors and a Silver City Comet set. The collection is mostly sourced from the various Government and private railways of New South Wales.

*The museum is not yet open to the public, however when driving past you are able to fathom the vast collection contained in the museum. Future plans include the re-opening of a section of the railway line to be provide day trips for visitors
