Parliament House

Across the road from the tram stop at the corner of Spring and Bourke streets is Parliament House - an impressive building facing the CBD. When the parliament is not sitting, visitors may join guided tours of the upper and lower houses, Queens Hall and the library.

Stone for the foundation and exterior of the walls comes from the Grampians, and the garden - which is open to the public - is a fine example of late 19th century landscaping.
