Bentley Motor Museum was the first large-scale addition to Bentley since the property was handed over to East Sussex. Hugh Stuart-Roberts who owned many vintage cars and gained enormous pleasure from them until he retired set up the Museum.
The museum is not a private collection as many individual owners who wish them to be more widely seen and appreciated lend the vehicles. All cars are well maintained and although within a museum, are in fact road worthy. Due to this element, the Collection has a tendency to change.
Bentley is a fine setting, not only because it shares its name with one of the greatest and most famous of British cars, but also because motoring history has been made in Sussex. The museum is a must for all vintage car enthusiasts.
