Roper's Gardens are a hidden gem on the Chelsea Embankment, that offer visitors a tranquil haven steeped in history, to escape the hubbub of city living. It is believed that Roper's Gardens have been located close to the River Thames and the Old Chelsea Church for many centuries.
This small city garden has been thoughtfully designed, with an elegant layout and careful planting. An ancient cherry tree is the gardens most outstanding feature, which was planted to celebrate the visit of Gunji Koizumi, who introduced judo to the UK.
