This magnificent manor house is located above the picturesque village of Breamore, on the edge of the New Forest.

The manor house was completed in 1583 and remains the family home of the Hulses, whose collections include furniture, paintings, needlework and porcelain. The house's countryside museum provides a fascinating insight into the days when the village was self-sufficient, with a blacksmith's shop a dairy, a full size replica of a farm worker's cottage and much more.

Breamore house also provided the set 'The Woodlanders' by Thomas Hardy, and the location for the film 'Children of the New Forest'. Guided tours of the house are available daily.
