The Chelsea Sports and Leisure Centre retains its historical charm and offers a wide range of modern facilities. The gym is a fun place to work out, with great equipment and introductory sessions to get you started. A range of classes to suit all abilities run throughout the week, including aerobics, yoga, body tone, circuits, step and street dance to name a few.
The 25 metre swimming pool has a hoist to enable people with disabilities to enter the pool, there is a separate teaching pool and a spectators gallery on the first floor. Swimming lessons are available for all ages and the Chelsea & Kensington Swimming Club offers coaching and training for competitive swimming from five yrs upwards.
There is a multi-purpose sports hall available for activities such as, badminton, five-a-side football, basketball and table tennis and an outdoor floodlit tarmac court. If you're looking for an alternative idea for your child's birthday party, then why not hold it at the sports centre.
The Therapy Room offers a range of alternative therapies, carried out by experienced practitioners, such as homeopathy, Bowen technique, reflexology, neuro linguistic programming, acupuncture, massage, reiki and nutritional therapy.
