The Royal Court Theatre produces first class new plays, showcases established writers, as well as supporting new talent and addresses the problems and possibilities of our time. So it comes as no surprise, that The Royal Court is a leading force in world theatre.

The Royal Court hosts high profile productions, by innovative writers from the UK and all over the world, as well as facilitating international work at a grass roots level and developing exchanges between British and international writers, actors and directors. The Young Writers Programme is open to anyone aged 13 to 25, who wants to create and experience contemporary drama.

Performances featuring soon include: Scenes From The Back Of Beyond, exploring the hopes and fragility of family life in Sydney, Drunk Enough To Say I Love You, Small Talk Big Picture, 10 short plays by international writers and Catch, a contemporary play questioning who we want to become and at what cost.

The Royal Court's success has paved the way for other theatres across the world to showcase new plays, which was formerly risque, but are now at the heart of a revival of interest among artists and audiences alike.
