Footscray Community Art Centre

Footscray Community Arts Centre is a world class community arts precinct based around historic Henderson House on the banks of the Maribyrnong River which runs through the western suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. This is the traditional land of the Bunarong people, and we acknowledge their prior ownership of this beautiful location.

Professional artists and members of the community can freely exercise their creative talent in a climate that encourages excellence, participation and innovation, and which celebrates the diversity of cultures in the Western Region of Melbourne, home to more than 165 different ethnic groups.

The Centre offers an extensive range of arts programs including exhibitions, performances, music concerts and one-off events, and a comprehensive workshop program in music, writing, theatre, circus, the visual arts and technology.
