This Wentworth property is situated at the confluence of the Murray and Darling Rivers and was first settled in the 1840s.
This historic town was a major inland trading centre. Opened in 1911, the school was run by the Sisters of Mercy until 1925 when it became a kindergarten.
This beautifully proportioned, single-room schoolhouse was saved by the Trust in 1979 to prevent it from being sold for scrap.
