The State's most amazing Botanical Park - Araluen Botanic Park is a very special place nestled in the deep jarrah forested valley in the Darling Range. Araluen is a tranquil botanic garden of natural and developed beauty, providing four seasons of relaxing activity.

Whatever time you visit Araluen, you will find the streams flowing, plenty of grassy areas on which to enjoy a barbecue or picnic and several delightful bush walks to take.

It's "Springtime at Araluen" featuring the renowned tulip display. This is held from August/September annually. Other events include special children's activity days during January and April school holidays. The park is a favourite venue for weddings, photography and family get-togethers.

Heavenly gardens of both exotic and native species, with many over 60 years old, have been created in this unique hills setting of loam soils and high rainfall. Magnificent stone terraced gardens and mature trees form the basis of the park.
