This quintessential English Garden is situated in South East England, surrounding a private Grade I listed timber-framed house, dating from 1550. The Gardens offer a sumptuous blend of romantic landscaping, imaginative plantings and fine old trees, fountains, springs and large ponds.

This Garden posses a very individual character and boasts exceptional views to the surrounding valley fields. Many eras of English history are reflected here, typifying the tradition of the English Country House and its garden.

The Garden Room Café serves an array of excellent food. There are daily specials made with fresh seasonal produce and you can finish off your lunch with homemade chutney and salad dressings. You can enjoy your food alfresco on the terrace overlooking the lake, in the shade on Jubilee Courtyard, or inside the Café where the walls are decorated with local artists' work throughout the season.

Special Events: The garden hosts an exciting programme of events throughout the year. The Tulip Festival in April /May (a unique fixture in the Garden calendar); an exhibition and sale of Sculpture and Botanical Paintings throughout the season; the Sculpture Fortnight at the end of May - featuring smaller sculpture displayed in part of the Manor; the Special Rose Weekend in mid-June; Lily Time from mid-July to mid-August, featuring new Lily Weekend from 1st-3rd August; and the Sussex Guild Craft Show at the end of August.
Further Information: The Gift Shop caters for every taste from postcards and local honey to traditional hand-painted ceramics and tapestry cushions. A wide selection of plants and shrubs, many of which grow at Pashley, are also available for purchase.
