Exmoor Glass is a small glass studio based at Porlock Weir in Somerset. The Studio Artisans create free blown glass by hand and the working methods and tools have changed little since Roman times.
The most popular kind of glass the Studio produce is the Cranberry range. Different colours in glass are achieved by the addition of different metals to molten glass. Cranberry's colour comes from the addition of gold to molten glass making it particularly special and desirable to collectors.
Visitors are always welcome at the Gallery and studio at Porlock weir, where the Artisans can be seen at work making Cranberry glass and other beautiful ranges of glasswork.
