Nestled by the bridge over the river Exe, you'll find the Exmoor White Horse Inn. Festooned in Virginia Creeper, the Exmoor White Horse Inn is a traditional 16th Century building with classic period features. Family owned and run for generations, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes The Exmoor White Horse Inn a favourite all year round.

The 28 inviting bedrooms all contain en suite facilities and each has a character of their own. In all rooms you will find a colour television, direct dial telephone, radio/alarm and tea and coffee making facilities. Some have four-poster beds and many have beautiful views to make your stay a little more special.

Enjoy the flavour of the west in the warm and inviting restaurant. Indulge in a five-course menu rich in pheasant, partridge and venison from the Moor, locally caught trout, salmon and lobster and organic produce from surrounding farms. Along with a Bar, your evenings will be full of excellent dining and a pleasant environment in which you can enjoy a glass of wine.

Getting There: Details of how to get to Exmoor White Horse Inn from the M5 Motorway Junction 25. Distance 26 miles, approx. time 3/4 hour to 1 hour. Leave junction 25 (Taunton) follow the A358 from Taunton towards Minehead for about 3 miles and then turn left along the B3224. After about 10 miles you will come to Raleighs Cross (pub).Go straight past and then turn right following the B3224 which changes course here. Continue for approx. 6 miles until you reach Wheddon Cross. Go straight across at the crossroads following the signs to Exford ( Approx 5 miles).
