Walsall Leather Museum is located on the edge of Walsall town centre, and is within half-an-hour's drive of Birmingham, Lichfield, Dudley and Wolverhampton. The museum celabrates the great tradition with over, 200 hundred years of leather making, from the world's finest saddles and leather goods, to reflecting the achievements of the leather craftsmen and women of Walsall.
Walsall is still home to over ninety leather companies, between them making an astonishing variety of items, which are exported to most parts of the world.
The museums attractions and facilities include, guided tours, conference facilities, live demonstrations of traditional leather crafts in period workshops, and much more.
