Discovery Safari's of Porlock

Porlock Safari's coordinate guided tours throughout the beautiful Exmoor national Park. Safaris usually have a mixed itinerary with places of interest and historic sites being visited, as well as viewing wildlife and the stunning scenery of Exmoor. Safaris concentrating on just one aspect e.g. the Doone Valley or archaeology are also available.

Your driver-guide is extremely knowledgeable on the area and will provide you with a lively, informed, commentary. The vehicle used is far from being a standard Landrover Defender and is fitted with air conditioning and carries six passengers in forward facing seats.

The duration of each safari is about 2.5 hrs and departure times are confirmed on booking. Private hire of the complete vehicle by less than six persons can be arranged and tours are not suitable for children under 5 yrs unless part of a family party. Remember to bring your camera and binoculars!
