Brecon Mountain railway

The Brecon Mountain Railway is a great way to see the stunning scenery in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Travel in an all weather observation coach behind a fantastic vintage steam locomotive. Your journey starts at Pant Station and takes you through the Brecon Beacons, the full length of the Taf Fechan Resevior to Dol-Y-Gaer and back.

When the Mountain Railway returns visit the workshop where old steam locomotives are repaired, or follow the footpath to the picnic area, which has magnificent views of the valley. Relax and unwind in the fully licensed restaurant and enjoy a delicious meal. This is defiantly a great day out for the whole family.
