Periton Park Court provides excellent self-catering accommodation with a cottage and cottage style apartments tastefully converted from the Coach House and Stables of a Victorian country house. A cedar chalet in a garden setting provides additional accommodation. In a totally secluded setting at the end of a third of a mile of private drive, with panoramic views of the sea and Quantock Hills Periton Park Court is surrounded by 30 acres of its own gardens, pasture and woodland with direct access to Exmoor National Park.
Periton Stables provide good quality horses and ponies for escorted riding in the Exmoor National Park, famous for its superb scenery and wildlife. The duration of rides vary from one hour to full day rides. Rides are conducted in small groups of up to six riders and care is taken to arrange groups with similar riding ability. TUITION is available in the outdoor arena, either in small groups or 1 to 1 private lessons.
Periton currently have sixteen horses and ponies ranging in size from 12:2 to 17 hands. The business caters for all abilities from complete novice to experience rider. Horses are all kept at Periton Park. When not in use they are out grazing not tack up waiting for riders. All riding is by pre booked appointments.
