Redbournbury Mill is located two miles north of St Albans, the mill is now established as a museum, and was the only working mill on the River Ver. Last used for milling in the 1950's, the mill is at the end of a massive rebuilding and restoration project, which took over ten years to complete.

The mill offers tours for group visits by, school parties or by, other groups by arrangement, either during the day or in the evening. The Redbournbury mill tour can incorporate, many aspects of the National Curriculum, and a mill quiz is available for various age groups.
