The Usk Inn is situated on the edge of the village opposite the former railway station and yard. It was established in the 1840s at the time of the Brecon to Merthyr railway. The Brecon canal runs along through the centre of the village, only a quarter of a mile from the Inn, in some places at roof level.
The Usk has been beautifully transformed from a ordinary quiet village pub into a country inn and restaurant with excellent accommodation. The eleven spotless and well-appointed ensuite bedrooms are individually decorated giving them a charming style.
The restaurant serves delicious food using local ingredients with a wide selection of food on offer. You can either eat in the bar or in the lovely air-conditioned bistro styled restaurant.
The Usk provides the perfect location in which to admire the beautiful surroundings, there are plenty of activities to be found in the area, for those of you who want a more energetic holiday.
