Shaw's Corner is a beautiful, Edwardian Arts & Crafts, influenced house. The house was the home of the great dramatist Bernard Shaw, from 1906 until his death in 1950.
Shaw's Corner rooms, remain much as Bernard Shaw had left them, with many literary and personal effects on display. The kitchen and outbuildings are evocative of early 20th-century domestic life. Shaw's writing hut is hidden at the bottom of the garden, which has richly planted borders and amazing views.
Guided tours of the house are available, with the average tour lasting one hour and 30 minutes.
