Blue Reef Aquarium

Blue Reef Aquarium is situated in the costal town of Tynemouth in the North East, just a short distance from Whitley Bay.

The aquarium provides visitors with an amazing introduction to life under the sea, with over 30 living displays including otters, some of the world's deadliest frogs, native and tropical sharks and rays, seahorses and much more. Blue Reef is a great place for visitors of all ages, with informative talks, and feeding displays, which are guaranteed to keep you entertained.

The Blue Reef Café serves a wide selection of food and drinks throughout the day. The aquarium also contains a marine themed gift shop with plenty of items available to remind you of your visit.
