The Criterion Theatre has been up and running since 1874, entertaining audiences amid this immaculately refurbished Victorian auditorium. The theatre contains two bars and ice-cream crisps and confectionary are available to enjoy during the performance.

This charming period theatre contains stalls, and lower and upper dress circles. The auditorium has an intimate atmosphere making it a pleasure for both the viewers and the actors.

The Criterion is available for hire and can accommodate a variety of events. The theatre regularly hosts corporate presentations, training days, showcases; as well as being hired out as a venue for various types of filming.
