Welwyn Romans Baths Museum displays the remains, of a Roman bath house, which was part of, a Roman villa built 1,700 years ago.
The museum offers a great and fascinating look into how the Romans use to bathe, with a wide range of hot and cold rooms and baths. You can also see where the slaves used to stoke the fire, and see how the under floor hypocaust heating system worked.
The museum welcomes, school parties and also offer, an experienced guide to give a short talk on the villa, and to explain how the baths were used.
