The Fort Hotel is conveniently located in central Broughty Ferry has a widespread popularity and a solid reputation. The Hotel contains Singles, Doubles, Twins and Family rooms and in addition to these, larger apartment style rooms that are ideal for golfing or working parties are available. The elegantly furnished en-suite bedrooms with quality fabrics and furnishings will ensure a comfortable stay. Each of the rooms has colour television, telephone, tea & coffee making facilities and provision is made for disabled guests.

The Hotel contains a number of facilities. Quality Food is provided in the warmth of the Steak Bar, where you can sample the famous Fort Steaks. Other dishes such as chicken, fish and vegetarian are also provided all served with chips or potatoes, salad or vegetables. There are also two different bar areas, one showing large screen sports events, and the spacious and comfortable lounge that is perfect for that quiet drink. The Fort makes an excellent base for discovering the Dundee area and the east coast of Scotland.

Every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, The Fort host their famous Karaoke night from 9.00pm - 12.30am with the bar open till 1.00am and on Fridays from 8.30pm - 11.00pm followed by a selection of the best of what's out now mixed with old favourites from the seventies, eighties and nineties

The area of North-East Scotland comprising of Tayside and Fife has some of the most famous and challenging golf courses that can be found anywhere in the world. The Fort Hotel in Broughty Ferry is the ideal location for any golfing holiday, as well as "PUB CRAWLS" We are situated just 6 miles from the challenging Carnoustie Links, site of the 1999 Open Golf Championship, and only 12 miles across the Tay Bridge you can find the world famous Old Course at St Andrews, the home of golf and site of the 2000 Open Golf Championship. There are also plenty of other fine courses in the area, most of which are excellent value to play on.
