The Mayflower is the largest theatre in the South and offers you magical evenings with the most spectacular touring musicals - many direct from the West End - plus opera, ballet, and some of the biggest names in popular music and comedy.

Built in 1928, the historic building is full of atmosphere and tradition, while the modernised facilities provide an evening of comfort and quality.

Whatever the occasion, the theatre contains three exclusive function suites available for private hire for show hospitality, meetings and conferences, training, product launches, wedding receptions and parties.

Functions: The luxurious Wessex Suite is the largest function suite. Set on its own floor, with direct level access by lift, this modern suite is totally self sufficient with its own reception area, licensed bar and toilets. With natural daylight and air-conditioning, the suite can hold up to 120 people standing or 64 seated. On selected evenings it becomes an exclusive restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious pre-show two or three course dinner.
Info for Disabled: The Mayflower aim to offer at least one signed performance using British Sign Language as well as at least one audio described performance for the visually impaired at all productions which run for more than one week.
