The Adelphi Theatre is a 1500 seat theatre, located in London's West End. The theatre is currently showing one of the world's greatest musicals, Evita. The theatre is steeped in history, as it has been entertaining audiences since 1806 when it was know as Sans Pareil.

Evita returns to the West End after 21 years and is directed by Michael Grandage and features lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Evita is based on the life of Eva Peron, who used her beauty and charm to escape the slums of Argentina and become the First Lady in the presidential masion.

Evita runs from Wednesday 8th Nov 2006 until Saturday 28th April 2007. The theatre is open six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, with a 7.30pm show and a 2.30pm performance on certain days of the week.
