The Aldwych Theatre located in central London, is currently hosting the musical Dirty Dancing, based on the iconic film starring Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze in 1987. Relive the film as you sing along to all the hits from the soundtrack, as well as a few new numbers and see all memorable movie moments, alongside added scenes.
Amid this decorative two-tier theatre, which was once the home of farce and the home of internationally renowned Royal Shakespeare Company, you can sit back and enjoy the show, specially re-written for the stage. Seats are available in the third row of the Dress Circle for wheelchair users and the theatre now has a loop system.
The Dress Circle bar opens 1 hr before each performance, the Stalls bars & Upper Circle bar open 30 mins before each show. Coffee and confectionary are available in the Rear Stalls & Dress Circle Bars and a Champagne & Wine Bar is situated to the right of the Front Stalls.
Latecomers cannot be seated until a suitable break in the performance and cloakroom facilities are available, 30 minutes before each performance at a cost of 50p per item. The use of cameras, tape-recorders & mobile telephones are strictly forbidden in the theatre.
