Brecon Cathedral is a magnificent place to visit, although it is not an ancient cathedral, dating back to the 11th century, much of the present building dates from the 13th and 14th centuries.
The Cathedral has midweek services, morning and evening prayer with choral on Friday evenings. Services on Sunday are Holy Communion, sung Eucharist and Choral Evensong. Visit the heritage centre and the Tithebarn shop for religious souvenirs, books, crafts, greeting cards and wonderful wooden toys.
