Royal Hotel

The Royal hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, there are plenty of places to chill out including the Lounge Bar, which was once a billiards room, it has the most unusual beamed ceiling and is the perfect way to enjoy a drink and relax by the open marble fireplace. Much of the character of the original house has been retained in the public area with high moulded ceilings and rich drapes.

The Royal Hotel is an 18 bedroom hotel with a lounge bar, restaurant. and terraced area to the front of the hotel. The main building houses the lounge bar, with seating for 24, the restaurant with seating for 50, our meeting room can accommodate 20-40, terrace and 10 letting bedrooms made up of 6 family rooms and 4 twins.

The Spey is one of the classic salmon rivers of Scotland. The Spey rises over 100 miles to the west and by the time it reaches Grantown it is a big river. The river has some great runs of salmon with over 8,000 fish taken each year.
