This museum is housed in a former Londonderry Port & Harbour Commissioners offices built in 1882.

It is designed as a traditional style museum dealing mainly with the city's maritime heritage. It also contains a range of miscellaneous artefacts and hosts temporary exhibitions. Replica of 30 ft curragh in which St. Columba sailed to Iona in 563 AD.

Situated on the River Foyle, Derry may be reached from Strabane by the A5 and from Dungiven/ Belfast by the A6.

Mon-Fri: 10:00am-1:00pm and 2:00pm-4:30pm.
