English National Opera

The London Coliseum is home to the English National Opera and is one of London's largest theatres, with 2,358 seats spread out over four levels. This dramatic, Renaissance style theatre has been attracting crowds for over 75 years and currently audiences flock to watch operas such as The Marriage of Figaro, The Gondoliers and La bohème.

The English National Opera stage annual seasons of opera, all sung in English, interspersed by visiting companies such as the English National Ballet. The ENB are presenting a five week Christmas Holiday season featuring the Nutcracker, Alice In Wonderland and Giselle.

The ENO run a range of education programmes, with special initiatives for schools and community groups, low price tickets, talks and workshops. ENO run a singing and performance skills workshop for all ages, singing weekends for adults, as well as workshops for children accompanied by their parents or carers.

The bars located throughout the building, serve Bollinger champagne, spirits and wines, accompanied by sandwiches and savoury snacks. A range of light supers are available and a box delivery service is on offer, where you can enjoy a three course hamper.
