The Donmar Warehouse located in the heart of the West End, is one of London's leading producing theatres. The Donmar has a diverse artistic policy, which incorporates contemporary re-interpretations of European classics, new writing, British and American drama, as well as small scale musical theatre.
The theatre has gained a reputation for artistic excellence over the last 12 years, with an unrivalled catalogue of work by some of the industry's leading artists. The theatre produces a minimum of six productions a year and has commenced a successful touring programme, permitting theatres across the UK to host their productions.
The theatre is a non-profit making organisation and has the capacity to seat 250. The Donmar has two bars, which open 30mins before the performance and close after the interval and confectionary is available. It is advisable for group bookings to pre-order interval drinks.
The Cryptogram, an unsettling play charting the breakdown of a family, runs from 12 Oct - 25 Nov 06. Don Juan in Soho revolves around the infamous amoral hedonist and contains scenes of an adult nature and runs from 30 Nov 06 - 10 Feb 07. John Gabriel Borkman is a scorching indictment of 19th century capitalism, which paints a devastating picture of selfish ambition and runs from 15 Feb - 14 Apr 07.
