Drill Hall Arts Centre

The Drill Hall showcases high quality performance work and arts activities and has a reputation for artistic boldness and daring. The theatre is a key venue and producer of work illuminated by a gay, lesbian and queer aesthetic.

The Drill Hall leads, educates and entertains and uses its artistic activity to encourage greater social inclusion, leading the way towards an equal, tolerant and compassionate society. Drill Hall run a regular programme of children's theatre performances and participatory workshops.

The Drill Hall support and present new, innovative work that is unexpected and artistically daring, confronting audiences with work that is relevant to modern life. There are two performance spaces housing 50 in the intimate Drill Hall 2 and 200 in Drill Hall 1.

The fully licensed bar serves a wide selection of beers, wines, soft drinks and snacks and is a great place to chat over a drink before the show. The bar is open from 6pm until 11pm on performance days and opens an hour before the performance on Sundays.
