Herne Bay Sailing Club

HBSC is a friendly, family-oriented dinghy-sailing club, on the north Kent coast. The club uses some of the best sailing water on the North Kent Coast, plus easy launching and recovery at all states of the tide on a wooden ramp. The club has a distinguished racing history and boasts National and World champions among members past and present.

Members sail a wide range of boats, the biggest classes being Laser One's and Dart 15s. There are also Laser2000s, Hornets, Pacers, Mirrors, Solos and Toppers. The club contains an accredited training centre (an 'RTE') and teach members up to Level 3 (sail) and Level 2 (power), all age groups are welcome.

There are a number of facilities at the club including showers, storage, dinghy park (only feet from the ramp), bar, galley, and easy parking. Sailing takes place from Easter, roughly, to the end of October. Racing every Sunday and many Saturdays.
