The Red Kite Feeding Station is situated at Gigrin farm which has an abundance of bird life, including red kites, Buzzards and Ravens to name but a few. The station offers rehabilitation and conservation as well as daily feeds.
The wild Red Kites are fed daily every day of the year at the farm, giving breathtaking views of the aerial piracy, whilst the kites compete with Buzzards and ravens for the choice pickings. The number of Kites to be seen can be anything from a dozen to 400 or more depending on the time of year and the weather.
The station has five large hides, which are used for the viewing of the Kite feeding. With just metres from you and the birds this makes for an excellent opportunity for photographs.
