St. Mary's Church is a stunning church located in Builth Wells, the tower dates back from the 14th century and the present nave, south aisle and chancel were built in 1875. the delightful south porch room has a room above it, which is accessed by a round tower capped with a conical roof. The stunning stained glass in the east wall is by Kempe in 1877 and the west wall is by Heaton, Butler and Bayne in 1945.
The charming church is generally open for worship each week, the eight bells which are regularly rung sound amazing with the heaviest bell being eight CWT.
