York Minster is situated in the heart of York's beautiful city centre and is a prominent feature in the city's skyline.
The Minster was built between the 12th and 15th Century and is the largest Gothic church in England with its stunning medieval architecture. Visitors are able to visit the Minster seven days a week, and explore the Undercroft, treasury, crypt and the tower. There are often guided tours taking place from Monday to Saturday.
The Minster hosts an 80 seat licensed restaurant which offers a variety of home-made dishes, alongside a shop which hosts a selection of unique and interesting gifts to suit both local customers and the many visitors that come to York each year.
