Waterside Accommodation provide luxury accommodation by the water in Southern Tasmania.

We have three properties, Derwent Retreat, Hideaway and Vista located at Austins Ferry in the northern suburbs of Hobart and Wedgside at White Beach on the Tasman peninsula.

Austins Ferry has the most parks in Australia, and is a great place to spend a holiday, base yourself for business or just stay for a day or two. The area is historic and to get to our properties you actually drive past historic James Austin cottage which is the second oldest building in Tasmania and past where the first ferry in Tasmania was located. As a backdrop Austins Ferry has the magnificent Derwent River, wonderful parks and two mountains yet the area is close to many attractions, shopping and the city.

Wedgeside is located on the beautiful Tasman Peninsula near White beach and is not far from Eaglehawk neck, Port Arthur and other attractions on Tasman peninsula.

Facilities: Our Austins Ferry properties are located close to major attractions such as Cadburys, Moorilla, Richmond, Alpenrail, Bonorong Wildlife Park, New Norfolk and the Derwent Valley. Public transport and shops are accessible on major roads close by and Hobart is only 15 - 20 minutes away. Our White Beach holiday house is on the Tasman peninsula near Port Arthur and close to main highways. All our properties have magnificent views and are suitable as holiday houses or homes, business or executive residences, short term rental or for tourists, business people, visiting work teams and others looking for self contained accommodation in Tasmania. They are all larger and better appointed than holiday cottages available elsewhere. We try and provide all you need and a little extra you probably didn't!
