Sausmarez Manor is a delightful place to spend quality time, amid beautiful surroundings, with grounds that combine peaceful spots, with fun areas where families can let their hair down.
You can take a ghost tour of the house on a Thursday or Friday and a join a group of between 6-20 people, usually led by Seigneur himself. Learn about the various ghosts and hauntings, as well as the history of the house and the island.
The ghosts have been around for almost as long as the house, which is nearly 800 years old. Most of the ghosts are friendly, some are inexplicable and the most recent one only died in the last 20 years.
The grounds feature subtropical gardens, a pitch and putt, a mini train ride, a sculpture park and a copper tin and silversmiths. The manor features a lakeside cafe, facilities for weddings, functions and meetings, as well as self-catering accommodation.
