The Bishopsgate House Hotel is delightful 18th century town house, believed to have been built as a Dower House for a local wealthy family. The hotel provides the ideal location for those that wish to explore the beautiful countryside, with outdoor activities a plenty.
The house now fully restored provides excellent accommodation, each room has its own individual style and character and comes complete with en suite facilities, colour television, trouser press, hairdryer, radio alarm, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. Relax and unwind in the cosy residents lounge, which still retains its wall panelling.
The AA rosette awarded restaurant, which is popular with the locals, produces freshly prepared food, using local produce wherever possible.
