Ampthill Park is set in 160 acres of parkland & woodland and is much more than a pleasant place to visit. The park is a nationally important historic site, and is where Henry VIII hunted 400 years ago.
Ampthill Park is also the home to Ampthill Town cricket club, Ampthill Town football club and Ampthill angling club, there is also a children's play area, toilets and tennis courts.
The park also provides a window into Bedfordshire's geology and is also home to some interesting wildlife.
