Portobello Market

Potobello Road market is one of the best markets in the world, every weekend thousands pour into the borough to pore over the 2000 stalls selling antiques, second hand furniture, clothes, bric-a-brac and that exclusive hidden master that will net them a fortune. Don't expect to bag a bargain.

Further down the hill are fruit and vegetable stalls. The section around Westbourne Park Road and Talbot Road was made famous in the film 'Notting Hill' , which starred the brilliant Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts.

Saturday is by far the best day to go, although many stalls are open throughout the week.
