The World War II Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial, commemorates American service men & women who lost their lives in WWII and is situated three miles west of the university city of Cambridge.
The cemetery is set in 30.5 acres, and the west and south sides of the cemetery are framed by woodland. There are 3,812 American military dead buried there.
The World War II Cambridge American Cemetery and Memorial is open daily to the public from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, except December 25th and January 1st.
