Enjoy self-guided tours of Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary on Kangaroo Island, home to an abundance of koalas, an absolute must for both domestic and international visitors.

You can expect to see between 15 to 20 Koalas to at any one time. You are welcome to stay as long as you like, enjoying these beautiful marsupials.

Be sure to take your camera, water bottle and binoculars. Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is open every day, easy to find with plenty of parking.

Further Information: The Sanctuary is 3,845 hectares in size, comprising of good quality mallee, woodlands and paddocks. Once farmland used initially for cropping and grazing, Hanson Bay Sanctuary is now a protected area where all native animals and vegetation are protected.
