Audley End House & Gardens

Audley End House & Gardens is a beautiful, elegant Jacobean mansion set in beautiful parklands. Sir Thomas Audley was given the lands of Walden Abbey by Henry VIII, and adapted the abbey buildings as his mansion.

Visitors of the house and gardens can see Robert Adam's ornamental garden buildings, and the Elysian Garden cascade. There is also the thriving organic walled Victorian Kitchen , and a 170ft long vine house, that stands the same as it did in its victorian heyday.
