Burghley House & Park is a fine example of late Elizabethan architecture set in beautiful parkland. The house is a real treasure having been transformed throughout the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries by two great collecting Earls.
All of the houses collections can be enjoyed on a guided tour, or at your own leisure on a Sunday. Specialist lectures, study days and tours can be arranged with the conservators, curator and guides.
